Kórnik is a little town located approximately 35 kilometers to the south-east of Poznan. The town was found in Middle Age. There are few tourist attractions there:
- Kornik Castel, a medieval caste turned into a baroque palace with beautiful park and botanical garden,

... or Indian Restaurant which has good pretty good food. In 2008 they were building a huge shopping mall just opposite the Lake...it might be there now.

Nice place to eat, read and spend some time is a shopping mall in the town called 'Stary Browar' - walking distance from the Old Town.

Tuesday 8 August Found toilet roll in room, went for a run, found fort where 20,000 Germans held out against the Russians in 1945. Only a few bits of this massive fort left as the Russians bombed the hell out of it, but found a military museum and Russian cemetery in the ruins. Ran to lake and closed miniature railway.
