          ... they gave us presents for having hosted Liese (chocolates, book of the Flemish parts of ?Belgium, key-rings & bookmarks). Zoe gave Liese tim tams (tried to do the trick of 1 packet then putting out another 1 while she was putting the 1st one away, but she was too quick... lots of laughing, eventually gave her a 3rd packet but couldn't do it secretly/trickily). They gave us appetisers - crunchy toast biscuits some with the Belgian style raw ...

          Day 24 I think at 8:00 amI am starting this day at the Netezon Wascenter - the local laundromat. It took some time to figure out how to operate the wasmachine, because was the most recognizable word on the direction chart! Help!!           ... is the hotel. I got a bad cab driver who told me the hotel was only 10 minutes walking. Wrong!!! It was about 30 minutes...schlepping our bags all the way.

          Finally to the Crown Plaza and checked in...smooth! Upgrade to Club floor! Thanks! We had maybe 15 minutes before we left (cab this time) for Grand Place Centre. Beautiful government buildings of Brussels. We met former Redline Express Dancer Wendy Williams Vastine, ...

          ... luxury goods, it was time to go grocery shopping for real food, so I headed back to Place Rogier, past the chocolate shops, the candy shops, the escargot truck and the frites vendors. I watched people stuff Belgian waffles piled high with Chantilly and strawberries into their mouths, and got on a tram to go to the grocery store.           What is it with water in Belgium? Skippy was empty, and it took us majority of yesterday arvo & today to find some where to fill her up. There are just no visible taps anywhere...and if there were they were shut off. luckily it was ****** weather today so no sight seeing planned just housekeeping ...
