... We had to fit together all the equipment over and over until it was locked into our brains lol. Then the afternoon was just as exciting (NOT) watching the videos to go with the scuba and then doing a written test. The water practice is Thursday on ship and Friday in the ocean in Mexico. Quick look inside a casa of the time and pix of locomotive 1590 ['1' means locomotive, '5' means 500 hp and '90' means its serial number]. Cuba was the third nation in the Americas to have a railroad system. Left the area at 1127.

... was on holidays...*****!

Lots of steep ups and downs, sometimes on a dirt road. Eventually to a coffee garden, Ania holding people up exiting, trying to access her raingear [why was it not packed in her daypack?]. After a tour of the coffee garden, to the coffee house for a special coffee 2 CUC.

Began our walk from there, going downhill just minutes to a museum re local bandits. At 1045 we were off walking. The walk overall ...
