... For dinner they had ziti pasta, pasta salad, Monterey Jack cheese, bread, brownie, and Vollkornbrot. It was some weird German cracker, bar. It tasted a little funny but I was pretty hunger. I did have a Warsteiner with dinner. At a price of 3 euro($5), it was worth it. After dinner, I slept for a few hours. I watched the episode of Modern Family but the movie they had didn’t catch my ...

... a Hyatt right on the Rhein in Mainz. Such a cute town! Had a lovely dinner at a doner restaurant. Next time I will not order fries. I had too much food! We walked down the street to walk along the river back to our hotel. It's a good thing we came up when we did because we are now bombarded with a doozy of a rainstorm. Now, bath time and sleep. Tomorrow - visit with Barbara in Bad ...

... a phone, and rang reception. That was obviously the key to the lift arriving, as when he started to say we were stuck up there (couldn't find any stairs), the lift arrived. I wonder if our friend ever went back for a swim. Ron's keen to ask him how his swim was if we see him again.

By the time we went back out at around 4.30 it was raining gently - just enough to be irritating. We walked around the block to check out a ...

... it was and then I started wiping my hands on it and stuff but then he chuckled and I looked around... Apparently they are to wash your face with, oops haha. I laughed it off and I have a feeling that's just the beginning of my cultural shock for the trip :P. I'm still waiting to try to slip in a "Dunca Shen?" -thank you Serpicos! There is a crazy amount of turbulence so needless to say it's been a bumpy ...

    Good hotel

    from

This is an ideal hotel for business or a city break. The shops are just minutes away by foot and the traditional german restaurants in the square are nearby too.

room was quiet comfortable and clean - got the best nights sleep ever!

Reception and waiting staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast is great with loads of choice and a spacious room.

    Excellent hotel all around

    from

This is a wonderful hotel in a perfect location. The front desk staff were efficient and pleasant and the lobby area modern and comfortable.

    Fab hotel

    from

Couldn't fault this hotel for the price. Excellent location, amenities and service.

    Excellent hotel

    from

Spent 2 nights in the NH City hotel in Frankfurt over New Year 2005, and found it to be an excellent hotel. We got a ridiculously-low rate on Expedia (something like £35 per night for the room) and were very impressed. The hotel is a 2 or 3 minute walk from the Konstablawache S-bahn & U-Bahn stop and the main shopping street (Zeil). It is very modern and clean, and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are reasonable sized and include satellite TV, minibar, desk area with internet connection - and all the standard stuff expected from a business hotel.

    Fab hotel...great value

    from

Just returned from a lovely shopping weekend in Frankfurt and had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. It was fabulous value. There is not one thing I can find fault with this hotel. It was ideal for shopping, it being only a short walk from the main shopping area. It was also spotless clean. The staff were both friendly and helpful. We used the sauna and steam room after a serious day shopping and it was glorious!

    Excellent Hotel...Great Location

    from

Stayed at the NH Frankfurt City Hotel Sept. 30 -Oct. 3 2005 and really enjoyed our stay. We are Americans living and working in Saudi Arabia. Frankfurt is a stop over point for us. So, we decided to spend some time there and were really glad we did. Hotel is 2 blocks from the nearest train/subway stop. The rooms were very nice and the beds were wonderful w/down pillows and comforter. The bathroom was big and the shower was hot with great water pressure. Hotel was quiet as a mouse every night. We slept like babies. Breakfast buffet had much variety (scrambled eggs, bacon, crepes, cereals, etc.) Hotel staff very polite and helpful.

    Loved this hotel

    from

This hotel was perfect and in a perfect location. It is within walking distance of the shopping district. We stayed over one night and wished we would have stayed longer. It was in a perfect location and the parking garage across the street was inexpensive for one over night on the week-end. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was worth the price. The room and bathroon were large enough for 2 people. The pillows were firm and the bed had feather covers rather than a blanket. This hotel is excellent and would recommend it to anyone staying in Frankfurt.

    Terrific Hotel

    from

This hotel is convient, spotless, great "Zen" like decor, Good staff and excellent food. We were booked in to this hotel by Granc Circle tours and it was terrific.

    Shoppers' weekend

    from

My daughters and I booked a weekend in NH Frankfurt hotel for a serious Christmas shopping expedition direct from IRELAND. We arrived very early at the hotel, and were welcomed warmly, our luggage was stored until we returned from our initial shopping. The hotel is only "a stones throw" from the main shopping area.

The room was excellent. we were three adults so it was important that our room be spacious and it was. The breakfast was a bit expensive @ 16 euros per person. The room rate was very good value. It was very very clean and hygenic and was very comfortable. The staff were excellent. In fact we are returning next year again to repeat the whole experience.
