    ... His involvement in plans to assassinate Hitler let to his arrest in 1943 and was later executed in 1945.

    After visiting the Bonhoeffer house we went on to St. Matthaus where the entire group was a part of a Lutheran Hour recording. The recording is scheduled to air in 2015 so stay tuned!

    ... family. She was also 16 years younger than her husband Martin Luther. Luther and Katharina marriage was not a love affair but a deep affection and strong bond grew in their marriage.

    I know this journey has strengthened and continues to help me grow in my faith to see all the work that has been done before us so that we may have these freedom's and liberties. How blessed we are.

    ... for lollies to keep us jolly and water to keep thirsty Lily happy. At one stop there was a map on the side of the path so we planned the rest of our route which involved riding to a river ferry and crossing over and then coming back in a loop.     The emotions were running high this morning as we prepared to say goodbye to the Mulder's. There were tears and tantrums and requests to 'go where they are going' and threats and bargaining and I finally managed to calm Jess down and told her it would all be OK and then the girls started.     ... giggle!" We are only on day 4 and I feel like I have been gone a month! Wittenburg was cool Rex Butler, ha! Loved singing one of the songs he wrote there in the town he preached at, pretty powerful. Burger King was great because I got ice!!!!!! Then we went to Aldi to get snacks!
