Viale Edison (Via Lama) Sesto San Giovanni, Lombardy, Italy, 20099
... He had been camping with his brother in Spain and was now returning to Lyon where he lived. This time I did not look out the window the whole ride to Lyon because I was interested in practicing my french and talking with this guy. We talked about music and life all the way to Lyon and when he got off we exchanged info.
Now I sat back and relaxed because I had another five hours to go on the train til Geneve. As we went rambling down the track, I ...

Milan, Lombardy, Italy frdrick... good for what you pay!! And awesome for a backpacker!!
Went for drinks at Frank's Bar which Patrick who owns the hotel recommended. Turned out to be a pretty trendy cocktail joint
where you pay for your drink at 1 place then get it at another. 10 Euro for a beverage no matter what you had so naturally I ordered a long island ice tea!!!
... a cool little wine bar/tobacco shop/lottery agent to have an aperitif and got to hear the waitress singing along to the radio in broken English with lots of made up words.
Had an AMAZING seafood paella at Osteria del Lazzaretto as well as the biggest piece of bruschetta I've had in my life! They also had half a litre of house wine for 4 Euro! Score!
... in a much better mood than before.
The next day I had my Italian/English lesson with Daniela. It was rainy and gloomy and I wasn't in the mood for it-we were going to go to the grocery store to practice my speaking (I was going to order meat for her). Once we got there though it was fun, we walked around talking about items, she was making a cake so we went through the sweets aisle and if I mentioned I hadn't had ...
After Istanbul and Rome... even Venice looked dull .. so what do you say about Milan!
Though we did go to see the famous Leonardo Da Vince's Last Supper. For the nerds likes me, let me tell you that the painting is not on a canvas but on the wall of the church (don't remember the name of the church) ... the experience was Wow... it almost felt that you were having dinner with Jesus and his group .. its costs about 25Euro per person ...
... the next 17 days.) Trolley cars! And the smallest real cars I've ever seen. They park care every which way in Italy, as you can see. This Smart car can be parked facing into the curb too, rather than parallel to the curb. Antonella gave us some info for the next day and headsets we'll use on the tours. We have a 7:00 a.m. wake-up; bus will leave at 8:30 a.m. for Lugano (Switzerland), and then on to Como.
Milano, Verona, Italy judyann... just drunk. Who knows. Oh yea, today I was just wondering around downtown, and I ended up in the huge book store. Well I can't read Italian so I was picking up books with the pretty pictures. I walked to the very back and I saw a cover with two semi-naked chicks holding each other. I picked it up and was flipping through it. People were looking at me all weird. Finally after picking up 3 or 4 similar books I realized I was in the gay/lesbian book section. Why does ...
Milan, Italy jaredten... Dominican padre sat in the very middle silently watching all the tourists wander around his house. I'm impressed by the dome, which is painted and decorated with geometrics, only emphasizing the mathematical feat represented by Bramante's circular dome placed on a cubical space. The decorations throughout, in fact have a geometric, almost mudejar design to them, which is apparently Lombard in style, but reminds me a lot of mosques. More on the Last ...
