    14 hours from Paris to 28 degrees and sunny fly to Osorno today to collect the bikes, crossing the Andes by plane was amazing but motorcycling back is going to be even better....and so to Argentina

    ... and I had pizza as our last, supposed to be, American meal. After pizza, for before bed, we bought wine to embrace more Chilean culture. Next day, Maggie arrived. We picked her up in the camper-van rental. Spray painted on our van is Pablo Neruda, a famous Chilean poet, and stanzas from some of his poems. Locals seemed to love it. At the airport some Chileans even felt compelled to snap photos of our new home. As Dan and I waited parked at arrival pick-ups ...

    ... the police being called. Sights, sounds, smells . . . sensory overload ++ for it all sounds even more ear shattering in fast Spanish.. Took ourselves off to a quiet shopping mall to give the ears a rest and help get the head in order. An ice cream helped tremendously. More bus ride to learn the history then home for a 'real' cup of coffee. Bought a jar of Nescafé and some milk to make our own. It is time now to go for a swim in the roof ...

    ... a tram on rails but it goes up and down steep hills.) The views were great and it was nice to walk around different areas, there are some nice gardens, a chapel, and an enormous statue of Mary.
