I continued along to the Egyptian Tomb, not what you are expecting in the middle of Madrid. The tomb was given to the Spanish by the Egyptians as a thank you for helping them during a time of flooding. The tomb was deconstructed entirely in Egypt before be reconstructed in Madrid.

Madrid has so much to offer. The sightseeing was wonderful, the people were very friendly and the food was delicious. I started off by landing at the airport and took the subway to Mafi's. Since meeting in Seville she said I had to stay at her place so I took her up on it. I have to say Mafi was a great host and she can cook really good octopus.

We had to go to the dealer with Nat’s dad for her car, absolutely nothing was making her happy - and then Diana came after a heated phone call - none of the workers had any idea what to do as all hell broke lose. After a big sleep in we went to the main shopping area of town. There were two main streets called Fuencarral and Gran Via, both of which we visited daily. There were some cool shops and we did some of our last bits of shopping here. Walking down Gran Via lead us to the Parque del Buen Retrio which is a big park.
