... me to head towards Prague using the same directions that I had used yesterday, so I did, and we rode for a good ten minutes without finding it. ... The apartment was a really modern little one bedroom with a separate lounge with a big fold down sofa.

The place they recommended for dinner, Sklepeni, was pretty much directly under the apartment so stopped in there for something to eat. Jamie had been hanging out for a Black Russian and no-one in Budapest or Bratislava would make her one, and the torture continued here with the guy saying they only did cocktails in summer! ... in skeleton bones, you may think its creepy but it is very touristy so it doesn't seem to shock you. I met a couple from California and a brother and sister from Texas on the train back so we all decided to go to the St. Norbert monastery for a beer. The Czech love to drink beer, they drink the most beers whereas Germany produces the most and Belgium brews the most. ... top of the rise and descended to where we waited. Ok, so not your usual hotel. Our room was huge and luxuriously appointed. It even had a Nespresso machine and a balcony. The restaurant overflowed onto a terrace that included a 'grill' (read barbecue) and two portable smoking ovens. The staff were attentive and professional and the food was amazing! By this time the foot had expired so Haydn and Will went back to the room, and Lauren & I sorted the parking meter for overnight. We walked the street (never seen so many steps in one city) and found a pizza place for dinner and had a cold Budweiser and took a takeaway home for Haydn.

We were buggered so we all tucked in for an early night to get ready for day 2 in beautiful Prague!
