Sunday we headed for the hills, in the wonderful Fiat Cinqeciento, it's amazingly spacious inside and enjoyed a picnic in the hills. There was no one else about everyone else was on the coast. There was a lovely river, I would have swum in but the others were clearly nothing like so impressed.

Pisa was crowded! We went into the baptistery (4 euros) To hear the singing. One guy came in,sang one note And because of the acoustics, Was able to sing another note and then another. And there was a major triad harmonizing with himself. Our group thought it was a ripoff. Impressive but we would have preferred to actually hear singing.
