Madrid was the capital of Spain, a place to go in my wish list for a long time. In September, I got a week off from work and I took off. I arrived at Madrid airport. A 20-minutes walk inside the terminals led me to the subway station. It was quite an easy access to the city. Also just two stops from the subway station close to my hotel Gran Versailles was Atocha station.
