When I left the NH at Lyon Aeroport and made my way to the RhoneExpress station, I was excited. This was my first time in months to see a European city. I bought my ticket to ride the RhoneExpress on the machine, and then I went down a staircase. The crimson red color of the modern, sleek tram made sure I was very excited to be going into a …
... Australian accents are good. They get a smile from everyone! - Before leaving one pub, make sure the next one is open. ... Things are slowly finishing up here in Lyon too. I didn't know it when I made my plans, but this week is school holidays for the kiddies, so Valentine and Romain, my 10 year olds have finished their lessons now. Clara and Yassine, my 14 year olds have one more lesson each, but have changed the times to fit in with their holiday plans. Others of my grown ups with kids or other plans, Vincent and Benoit, have finished up too. So it's given me a lot of free time, ...

Stayed overnight in preparation for trip to Rome. Hotel was a great location to enable relaxed access to flight - 5 minute walk to all check-ins. Hotel staff very competent and pleasant, providing all the assistance we required, including details of long-term and short term parking possibilities.
Dinner at night was enjoyable and of good quality for hotel food. Did not stay for breakfast. Lounge area was un-rushed, providing good location for evening drinks.
Room was of good size, clean and well presented.
