That was my day of being Dutch. I'm off to bed early to catch a morning flight to Oslo, my final destination for now! I'm very excited to get there and meet the people in my program, its sure to be a great time!
... had a walking tour of Amsterdam, heading through the red light district, got our first glimpse of some of the local workers and the famous canals. Experienced a local sex show with the group. Interesting is maybe a word to be used. John and I had an excellent spot in the front row, got to see everything, maybe too much. After all the entertainment I managed to get quite the headache so headed back to the hotel, john stayed out the the others and experienced some of the Amsterdam night ...

... museum. Anne was really a very dedicated person. She wrote so neatly and edited her work so it could be published into a book. She only got half way through the editing process before they were caught. For some reason this incompletion also affected me greatly. After the museum we both needed some cheering up, so we went across the street to the Cheese Museum. It was a cheese shop with a pretty dorky cheese display downstairs where you could see old cheese making tools ...
