Hola! We landed early this morning and received all our bags, so it seems like all our problems are behind us. We think the room is small but ok for Europe. After getting situated, we walked down one of the main streets to pick up an attraction card. It was a nice walk and we saw some of the buildings and palaces mentioned.

... me has a woman from Argentina who is probably in her 30s. The bunk under hers has a girl from Algeria! I felt kind of bad because I wasn't quite sure which part of Africa Algeria was in. I thought it was the north coast (it is) but it was still surprising. I don't think I've ever met travelers in hostels from the more Arabic parts of Africa before. Yay for new adventures!

... and rice not soft enough for my liking. I wanted to arrive at the flamenco show happy, so I had something sweet, yogurt. Sorry, didn't take a pic of that, it wasn't all that.
I was in full tourist area, so hailing a cab was super easy. People here really don't speak English, so I've really been getting by with the small amount of Spanish I know. I chatted a bit with my cabbie to the venue. Yay!

This coming week will be the 3rd week of classes which is crazy since people back in the states are going on Spring break and taking midterms. My classes are going well. I'm really liking the political science class. This week for that class we are going to the Spanish Senate building which is cool.
