A fantastic location, right on Queen street mall. Perfect for shopping or business in town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A nice view of the Brisbane river, spacious executive suite.

Yesterday we arrived in Brisbane after sleeping the last night in Surfers at a friends house in a really comfy bed :)) We are staying here in a hostel not far away from Southbank. It has a pool and even a tennis/ basketball court. It's called Brisbane backpackers resort. On arrival we strolled around Southbank which looks beautiful and then ...

Brisbane was the next stop. Partly due to time restrictions and partly due to the fact that we didn't really want to spend a lot of time in another city (they are all quite similar, you know), we only stayed for half a day. An early morning- up at 3:30am (which was very hard after out staff Christmas Party the night before). * Through security at Brisbane Airport with only 3 of the Flynn Family pulled over to be tested for gunpowder residue - we obviously looked dodgey in our hiking clothes & backpacks!! * A lot of turbulence from Brisbane & no catering for economy passengers. The positives - parents are in Business Class & kids were given a $15 ...

... up with van hassles. The starter motor hasn’t caused us any trouble recently anyway and we’re all so smelly now that the stink from the van is less obvious - we’re kind of blending in I think. Nice.

After a few days with recharged batteries we moved on to Brisbane for a couple of nights. Australia’s 3rd city. It sounds like a really up and coming place, booming in fact. An edgy arts scene, great cafes and coffee, plush parks ...

... I got a cheap deal 6 days for a Suzuki swift it cost me $200, which thought it was fairly cheap as it include a full tank of petrol. It was very nice and clean though it was small but that was okay because it was for just me. It was going to be my little run around for the week to get to all my activities. You could choose between a manual or ...
