A fantastic location, right on Queen street mall. Perfect for shopping or business in town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A nice view of the Brisbane river, spacious executive suite.

After I got back, I did a bit of walking around before I was on to my next adventure I had planned, the one I was truly excited for. Rock climbing at Kangaroo Point, that overlooks the entire city skyline and is right on the river.

I booked a rock climbing lesson through a company, and it was only me and one other lady there to do the climb with our instructor. Which was ...

8:00 the bus arrived having picked up the other girls from the other training farm and it was good to see them again and hear about their week. Clint and Will said their final words and wished us all luck for our jobs. It was about a 4 hour drive back to brisbane and we dropped of nelly, will, Kasey, Niamh and Christian at the airport on the way as they had to fly to certain areas for their jobs. The rest of us carried on to brisbane transit centre where ...

He was very concerned and waived the $11 executive fee - that was nice of him lol. At least the excruciating pain from my finger took my mind off the impending flight. Once we were through the required customs checks, security checks and immigration checks, where Rusty got into trouble trying to smuggle in a 200ml tube of shower ...

Our last stop in Australia before heading to the islands was Brisbane, the 3rd largest city at 2.5M. The City was named after the Brisbane River, which in turn was named after the Governor of New South Wales before splitting off as part of Queensland.

The evening prior to arriving in Brisbane, we had dinner in the Compass Rose Restaurant on board. I selected the Canyon Ranch meal in an attempt to stem the probability of me becoming the average ...

... to Elanda Point. The camping was a five star one, compared to the one just mentioned. We did a barbecue with self made garlic prawns and Brie salad. Yum! The third day we decided to go home. One day earlier then planned, but ah well... We went up to Harry's Hut, where we rented a canoe and went up the river. There we did a picnic in the boat. While we paddled back we were surprised by the rain. Soaking wet we thought we found our platform. As Darryn was trying to ...
