Yesterday, when out for our evening stroll, we noticed what appeared to be a cycle track along the banks of the river Loire, so, off we went. It started well, but, after about three miles, the track had become to narrow for Kathleen's taste, so, we retraced our route, back to the campsite, and joined another cycle route I had noticed.

... anyone thinking of using this campsite, and, perhaps, worrying about access, a little bit of video of our departure. You need to skip over the drive to the service point, and, as you can see, the access roads are not bad, provided you do not encounter a road sweeper, as we did!

... a few Belgium blue cows, they are very big and white. The villages we pass thru are beautiful in a very traditional and historic way. The buildings seem to have survived the passing of the years and even centuries. There are Catholic Churches in every village, and chateau dotted here and there. I have learnt to be able to tell if the village has a patisserie, by the size of the water tower in town. God knows how heavy we will be when we ...
