At first, I was deciding whether I wanted to go to Ecuador or Peru. They both have great Spanish immersion schools, delicious food and beautiful sites. In the end I chose to go to Ecuador for the following reasons:

1. The flight to Ecuador is cheaper than the flight to Peru.

2. In Ecuador you can use US currency.

... Building - wow that is amazing too. We didn't have time for a tour though. Headed back to the hotel room for a quick warm up and half hour rest! Caught the hotel shuttle to get some quick dinner before the Redskins v Giants NFL game at FedEx Stadium.. Betsy and I made it to DC! I did about 45-50 miles to get here today. I went straight to the national mall to try to catch the tail end of the events for the 50th anniversary of the march on Washington. They had security set up outside the WWII memorial and i didn't want to mess with bringing my bike in line only to have them say I couldn't bring it. So I stayed between the WWII memorial and the Washington monument. The speakers were at the Lincoln memorial ...
