Walked to the zoo today, as we wanted to go see the baby pandas plus the zoo is free !!!!! So we went for an explore and we're pleasantly surprised with the amounts of animals and different exhibits that they had from the endangered species I.e. The Cuban crocodile ... To the amazing North Atlantic octopus !! Spent most of the afternoon just exploring and seeing the animals enjoying our last day on the eastern side of the states ...

... Pool. It was very crowded inside the Lincoln Memorial, but we worked our way through to snap a few photos of Abraham Lincoln. An amazing structure, two walls on the interior have an inscription of 2 famous speeches by Lincoln. These being the Gettysburg Address and his 2nd Inaugural Address. ... speakers, which is always a good thing. The Guesthouse where I'm staying is adorable (not to mention half the price of the Hilton!), and it feels like a home. Other librarians from the conference are staying here, too.

At some point I need to get to the campus mall and get pics of the cherry blossoms, ...
