It was very exciting! They had guns and spurs on their boots and everything. The next ...

... high and 50 by 50 feet wide. Two narrow openings face north and south, and the whole thing is painted white - it looks a little like a large Lego block. From here, we headed towards the old County Courthouse, now a tourist information centre, where Maggie was reminded that she needs to harden herself up and not engage with seemingly friendly locals who offer free gifts/tours/maps.
