... The final part of our tour was a walk through the main city centre of Heraklion- with its old historic buildings, lovely Orthodox Church, fountains and modern day brand name shops! Lance and Liam managed to add to their haul with a couple of large Greek warriors. God knows how overweight we will be on our trip home. Finished the day with an evening spent at the back of the ship watching the sun go down, and eating from the buffet which for once wasn't too ...

The buildings there are closed for renovation so I couldn't go inside, but it was a nice relaxing way to end the Cretan visit. I do have to say here that this harbour would rival the York Moors for kindness. Holy ****. So windy walking down the harbour road - almost blew my wig off!
And that is it from Crete. Next stop, Rhodes.
