We arrived at Sami in Kefallonia and headed straight to the hospital. We were all a bit worried that the doc would have to open his leg back up! Odysseus, my Bronze-age hero and his men had a tough time getting back to their home, Ithaca. Here is how that went; some men get killed by a god, some men are eaten by a one-eyed giant, the crew gets drugged up, Odysseus visits Hades (hell), some crew are eaten by a monster, Odysseus is held as prisoner by a demi-god. He starts off with 12 boats of 40 men ...

... driver suggested we walk to the end of the line and ask the last taxi driver. Luckily we found a nice one. After picking up the tiny little car we made our way to Melissani - Cave of the Nymphs. It is a cave with turquoise blue deep water lake that reach a depth of 39 meters. You get into row boats and make your way through the cave with many stalactites. We then called in to Agia Efimia beach for a quick bite to eat and walk around ...
