The drive back to Chania didn't take long, we headed for the sports area with the sandy coves. When we arrived it was busy with people taking their daily exercise, walkers some with dogs, some with prams, joggers and cyclists were completing circuits if the park. We went for a walk up over the headland following a path that weaved in between boulders and shrubs, we could see some people swimming in the cove it looked very inviting. The ...

Before leaving the campsite we walked Logan on the beach, it's makes your ankles ache walking on the pebbles. The sea is much calmer, but the wind is still cold and gusty.
We set off to drive to the next village, we had to drive up into the mountains across one of the deep ravines and then come back down again.
The drive was lovely with the sun shining on the fresh snow. We frequently stopped to take photographs, once again we had ...

... did the 1000 mile checks while Catering made use of the oven and baked a fruit cake and made a venison casserole, enough for two days.
After lunch we updated the blogs and photographs, sent some emails to friends that had written to us over Christmas and then continued our research for our Spring travel plans.
We have enjoyed our week in the Villa, the ...
