... quite good. We washed it all down with glasses of Goose Island Ale which was a wheat beer and quite florally and refreshing. Towards the end of the trip we went out on deck. Jen had a gin and tonic and was chatting with an American. I had been speaking to a guy from Dakota who was nurseryman, he was telling me about how few holidays he gets and it was his first time on the Mississippi. Julie and I are a little more sensibly dressed, wearing polar ...
We are finally starting our adventure today! Unfortunately it was a few weeks after we booked our tickets til we realized that our flight takes off at the same time the Super Bowl kicks off. Not that we're excited about the teams, but it is the last football for six months! We fly into Reagan Airport in DC tonight and fly out of Dulles Airport (about 30 minutes apart) at noon tomorrow. Our hope is to stay up ...
