    ... french people have 2 hour lunch breaks!) The waitress/owner didn't speak any English, so we tried to understand the menu and managed to talk to her in french. I ordered jous du boeuf, which was essentially a very old fashioned beef casserole with mashed potato! It was sooo good, and reminded me of the casseroles we used to have when I was a kid.     ... out in its own right...the up hill climb to the Pantheon is a good bit of work, with Heather suggesting "this place better be worth it!" But unfortunately as we came around the corner we discovered that the entire top half (the whole dome) is covered in white tarp, structural steel, and a tower crane...the dome is being restored for the next 3 years :( Inside the Pantheon, its nice, but not overly impressive especially since the inside of the dome is covered up too.     ... We went inside the Louvre lobby but opted to cross some other stuff off of the list first as the sun had come out again and the lines at the Louvre (as you can imagine) were super long. The rest of the guys were supposed to meet us at Notre Dame but we all got there at different times and none of us have phones to use! Carrying on with our plans, Karliana, Aleks, and I went inside the Notre Dame and even sampled some bread at a bread festival going on outside the church. ...

    ... we shall take the lift?! After doing a lap around the tower and walking to the front of it we climbed the stairs and took a few photos. We then sat again on the stairs and decided what next to see. The louvre was close, so we walked to it.     ... the majority of the castle is closed to the public. All the ones on display were very fancy. Hall of Mirrors in particular was amazing. When we emerged outside, there was a bitterly cold wind blowing us away. Elle and I headed down from the castle through the gardens, which are also amazing, and massive.
