... We are now sitting in the Cathay Pacific lounge (BA don't have one). Time for a strong Canada Dry ginger ale!! An incident free flight to London, followed by dinner in the BA lounge in Terminal 5. Max is then heading off for a pre flight facial in the spa. My next update will be upon arrival in Singapore. We are thinking of home more and more. It will be good to be home, but first some quality time with Bec, James and the ...

After Peter Pan we had about an hour until the firework ...

We have our last 1/2 day in Paris before getting onto the Eurostar and making our was to London. We did our final happy laps around Paris and then spent some time sitting on the grass under the Eiffel Tower watching the many photo poses people attempt under the Eiffel Tower. By the time we had finished saying goodbye to Paris we had less than an hour to be ready for our pickup which would take us from our hotel to the station ...

... a normal city on the way in until arriving in the original old city. I finally spot the tower, is that it? I ask Grant. From a distance it didn't stand out above the city and have the presence I had built up in my mind. I'm sure closer up it meets expectations. Arriving in Opera we stagger with our packs in the rain, stagger due to tiredness not the weight. We wander around marvelling at the old buildings while trying to figure out where we are & find a taxi. ...
