... 3 Aussies, a Scot and a Pom in one of the cafes on the Boulevard. I know it sounds like the start of a very bad joke, but it's not. We all started talking sports, and before I knew it, I was quite drunk. I think the tequilla "Absent Friends" Toast, Sambuca shots, and some other cocktail thing might have had something to do with it. I headed back to the hotel about midnight and hammered. I was lucky. My hotel is just down the road. There's were all over Paris.
Paris, France supalenHi all, We are in the Paris airport just waiting the airplane to go to our final destination: a flight of 8,5 hours!!! Everything goes very well although I have just seen in the web that the weather in NYC is not as good as we expected: some storms and clouds ... well probably better than sunny days with 50 degrees ... By the way: the Frech keyboard of this PC is horrible!! All the letters are in different sites comparing it with a Spanish one. Lots of kisses

Lognes, France kawoosh... Spain's victory by dancing in the fountain in the square. We hung around and cheered with the crowd for a while It was a little crazy but really fun. On the way back everyone was talking to about the game on the metro which was great French practice. I got back to the hotel around 11 and now I'm getting ready to sleep! Tomorrow we have one more orientation (though I don't know what more information they could possibly give us!), a tour of Notre Dame, and a boat tour on the Seine.

Paris, France akgotoeurope... enjoyed on Sunday, the view in the opposite direction shows the Pl Trocadero across the River Sienne. If you move your finger just over and to the right from there you will be close to our hotel. You can also see the Arc du Triumph in that neighborhood, very centrally located. Teresa wanted to visit the Montmarc area of town, quite a bit to the north, so being experienced Parisians we took a handfull of metro tickets and headed off ...
Paris, France bruinz... worked their magic, hoisting the weight of a cheerful crowd to the middle level. There, we indulged in cappuccino--to warm ourselves. It had begun to drizzle which momentarily impeded our enjoyment, but we filled our bellies with croque messier and headed out to the observation. The view of Paris from that steely height was breathtaking! The city's tapestry wove its color and alluring passion beneath our very eyes! Structure after structure rolling below ...
Paris, France j-eunit... high school around the block were out on their break--filling the side street with their chatter and smoke. The scene is the same during recesses at the middle schools too, where often the students smoke on the playground alongside their profs. I have my memory of smoking days. Life after smoking improves. And the world of smell even returns. Imagine the joy former smokers will have in re-discovering another part of their cultural identity: the essence of a beautiful French perfume.
Paris, France travelingmomAfter hanging out with people and transfering photos to my website last night, it got to be extremely late. I didn't get to bed until 3:30, and I had to be up for a class at 8:30. Yeh, it's a Saturday and they made us go to class to make up for the Friday we're missing because of Bastille Day. I show up maybe 5 minutes late and the professor isn't there. 15 minutes later he still hasn't ****ing shown up, and I was ******, because I could have slept in ...
Paris, France smanky... get us to the target, we followed the street signs and our sense of direction. After 30 minutes, we found out that we were walking in circle at somewhere near the Center Georges Pompidou. We were lost. Finally, we got to the Musse du Picasso around 11 am. I personally was not a fan of Picasso, so I didn't stay there longer. But if you like Picasso, that would be a nice place to visit. There are hundreds of collections of the artist. Like, his early ...
