Supporting the Irish!
After a 7 hour bus journey, I arrived and met up with Tim. I was staying at Club Nena, but the Tennis and players were at the Ali Bey next door, and once I'd negotiated the security I spent most of my time at Ali Bay with Tim and the Irish team, returning to Nena to sleep..

They were right. Unbelievable mountainous coastline and a sunny day can make a great day. Only drawbacks are that in some sections there is some construction as they are putting in tunnels and wider lanes, etc; that...and ...
Back in Turkey
... Some day I am sure the coast road will become a dual carriageway, if not a motorway but now, until near Alanya it rises and falls with the hills. It curves inland and twists backwards and forwards until I am dizzy. Sometimes I am riding by the sea, other times I am high above it and sometimes the road takes me inland. Every now and then I drop down to a glass and polythene town. The small valley floors between the hills ...
