... we decided to wait and get that. I am sooo glad we did. It was really delicious. It was a little bento box with chicken (Rick had pork), rice and steamed veggies, and it was very tasty.

At the main station in Taipei we switched to the metro (we had bought a metro pass- you pay for the card and then put money on it, and when you leave you turn the card back in and get the money back and whatever is left on the card) ...

... for the area, so naturally we wanted to eat some at the original place. It was still raining pretty hard, but we asked the owners and they called for a taxi for us and told the driver where we wanted to go. It wasn't far, but due to the strength of the rain, the options were get soaked or take a taxi. The driver was very friendly and walked Rick under an umbrella to the front door, he came back for me but we had one umbrella, so I was using it.

We headed south for Puli, then onto Sun Moon Lake (a famous lake in the mountains at the centre of Taiwan) where we stopped to have a look at Wenwu Temple (a buddhist temple on the shore of the lake).

... walked on the skywalk. Later on, we walked down to the Japanese Monster Village and had half an hour of free time. When all the fun was over, the bus took us to the Le Midi Hotel Chitou. After having dinner, most kids went down to the arcade to loosen up after the long day. Tomorrow, we leave Chitou for Puli!
