We've left Lourmarin with some sorrow, but soon perked up when we got into the Alps. It's been a perfect day, the trees are turning Autumn colours and although it's 26 degrees there's snow on the high tops. Briancon has this amazing fort built to keep the Italians out many years ago. However, a cute little cafe called Victoria Station was open so we grabbed a quick take away cappuccino and walked the streets to find all the little stores that we wanted to visit later. The streets are so pretty here. All the buildings are so gorgeous and the streets are lined with full, green trees. ...
