... but once when Benson said, there was a group of Japanese people who walked the Great Wall of China in Winter and a part of it collapsed so they all DIEEEEDD, I started laughing out loud because Benson made it so dramatic with the microphone, because his eyes were wide open and he said in such a slow and subtle tone – THEY DIEEEEDD! We went to Beijing zoo yesterday! It was really cool as I hot to see a panda and a polar bear! However some of the animals looked really sad and the enclosures were tiny! ... some more language skills than I had in my previous 7 trips to China. I’m happy to report that I am actually doing okay. I can’t teach in Chinese, that’s for sure. We took the morning flight to Kunming, where we then drove to the stone forest. We then did one of the shorter walks but managed to get a near birds eye view of over the forest. After that we went to a local restaurant for some lunch where we were also able to try (if brave enough) some dried crickets ...

... high on the mountain that they had a gondola to get to the Wall. This was a nice feature that saved us time and a power hike :)

We made the best of the weather and tried to get some good shots. I hope to be able to visit another section of the Wall that has not been restored and you actually have to climb broken down sections on a nicer day, but we'll see!
