... I could in words but it was really mesmerising and the music was just fantastic. It was at the Olympic sport centre so right next to the BirdNest and aquatics centre - quite a treat to be able to see them as well! Beijing is totally different than Shanghai. It retains much of it's histrionic character, especially in the center around the Forbidden City, where they protect the historic little neighborhoods call Hu-Tongs.

The pollution in Beijing was awful. Apparently it was the worst it has been in a few months. The PM2.5 was over 400, which is well into the "hazardous" zone according to the embassy. In the US, in the worst cities, ...

... the show was great. The mind boggles when you see some of the positions and stuff the human body can do: one bloke standing on another's head with his own head and then climbing a ladder, playing keepy-uppy with umbrellas, balancing on a chair on one hand 4 meters above the ground, 12 girls on a bike at the same time. I mean its all completely useless but nonetheless incredible. The finale was 8 motorbikes in the same wall of death ball. ...
