... So, when we awoke this morning and looked outside, we saw a larger than usual collection of military personnel and vehicles. On the one hand, it makes you feel special. ... we were used to back home. But, this unknown "x-factor" was why I had signed up for the trip in the first place, and was able to easily stomach my meal that evening..... By the time we reached the hotel to end our day, I had realized that we had been up for over 26 hours straight. Surprisingly, everyone was in a great mood, but very tired. ... and Emma for a moment in the masses of people (and the blond hair was no definite sign anymore) which led to a slight panic, but I found them again, so yay J and then we walked into the imperial gardens which had their own style and class and were simply amazing. Soo pretty. The Chinese really look after their cultural heritages. There is soo much cleaning and gardening and security staff.
