... way of being nice. After this happened, I was telling my roommate about it and now every time we have seen him, he is always just so happy to see us. We don't know his name so we just call him my Chinese husband. He is a nice person and if we ever needed help, he would come and help us. We see a department store for traditional arts and crafts, we go in and have a look but it is really expensive and there are four floors of the stuff! ... Forbidden City quite a few times, although the last time was just before the Olympic Games and much of Beijing was being overhauled - including some of the pavilions in the Forbidden City.

We arrived very early, ready for the opening, as we were concerned that there may be quite a few tourist groups. The weather at the moment, is really nice, still Spring, with many of the trees in blossom.
