... including an English guy who I spent the next morning hanging out with, looking through some of the local markets and the usual shrine and church type efforts. Despite originally intending to spend a couple of nights here I soon realised that I'd seen most of what the town had to offer. I also had to meet my brother in Kuala Lumpur over the next couple of days so I decided to head off and jumped on the afternoon bus to the capital.
