... and got booking. We are traveling to Ireland to visit Dee's family and then down south to England to visit my boys. The car is being used for this and I will be leaving it at my sons for the year. Will be handy when we return.
Easy jet provided the best price out to Berlin and then we will fly by Air Berlin onto St Petersburg.

Here's hoping that the problems out in Russia don't get out of hand.

... 200 miles I arrive at the port of Heysham and pull up to the terminal at the ferry port.

Within minutes I have my ticket and with another half hour to spare before check-in it’s of yet again to find another hot chocolate!! After that I ride around and join the lines of traffic waiting to board the 14h15 ferry to Douglas on the Isle of Man!!

After sitting in the sun for over 40min I am the first to be loaded onto the ferry!!
