... Its about 120 miles from the ferry port to my house and its normally done
in just after two hours. However, today it was to be a bit longer and its all
thanks to a slow go truck that I simply could not get passed. This large truck
pulled out in front of me near the town of Pathead and soon after that the road
becomes rather narrow with solid white lines in the centre for the next 6 miles
or so and so I was stuck behind him for ages. ...
... and took in a few of the sights. Weather was still great.
As the day went on the temperature started to drop and feet were starting to realise the miles we had put in. We then caught the bus back into town and headed home for a well earned wine and nice meal.
We will miss this great city. But I am sure what we are about to experience will only add to our already great photo album and experiences.
