    ... are dandions!! The olive stalls are 2x4 bins 20 in a stall full of different olives. 2 euro a kilo! So cheap, but I don't think I can get on the airplane with them. We are starving and finally sit at a restaurant across street with souvlaki on the canopy. We order the platter for 2 and 1/2 roasted chicken. A huge tray of food comes out. Chicken and pork souvlaki , chicken and pork gyro, lamb kebab, pita and French fries. ...

    ... a town built along the low side of the island. It is a beachside promenade with many restaurants and shops. We were treated to a private lesson with a local chef, and it was fantastic. He explained a lot about Greek cuisine and fresh local ingredients. They only grow cherry tomatoes on Santorini and they have almost a briny taste to them, very good.

    After a stormy night, the sun came out this morning for a lovely day. We thought we'd head for the end of the island to IA and wander around there. Headed for the bus stop which is close to our hotel and the bus showed up shortly after-wards however it was already full and we had to stand.
