      ... are dandions!! The olive stalls are 2x4 bins 20 in a stall full of different olives. 2 euro a kilo! So cheap, but I don't think I can get on the airplane with them. We are starving and finally sit at a restaurant across street with souvlaki on the canopy. We order the platter for 2 and 1/2 roasted chicken. A huge tray of food comes out. Chicken and pork souvlaki , chicken and pork gyro, lamb kebab, pita and French fries. ...

      ... a town built along the low side of the island. It is a beachside promenade with many restaurants and shops. We were treated to a private lesson with a local chef, and it was fantastic. He explained a lot about Greek cuisine and fresh local ingredients. They only grow cherry tomatoes on Santorini and they have almost a briny taste to them, very good.

      After a stormy night, the sun came out this morning for a lovely day. We thought we'd head for the end of the island to IA and wander around there.
