... Oz. Cathy flew into Melbourne and only had one day to explore before she flew out with me to Brisbane. Jamie met us at the airport and drove us 3 hours inland to small farming town named Stanthorpe. Our mission was to help Jamie assembly a solar float for the parade and to see if we could find Cathy a fruit picking job.

... and had a look in the shop where they had all these jars of homemade relishes, vinegar all kinds of posh stuff basically, it all looked well nice!
Last stop was this winery that was on the top of this hill, the whole side of the building looking out over the hill was made of glass and the view was amazing!! We tried a bit of the vino and then bought a couple of bottles and chilled out there for a bit, it's a good job there was no-one else there I think ...

... unsere tolle Yacht-Mitfahrgelegenheit gefunden haben, war die erste Anlaufstelle. Nach wenigen Minuten konnte ich bereits die ersten Stellen rausschreiben oder für weitere Informationen über den Arbeitgeber Google fragen. In den engere Auswahl kamen: eine Schaf- und Rinderzucht, etwas außerhalb von Brisbane....weiterhin eine kleine, private Stelle die ein betagtes älteres Ehepaar geschaltet hat, mit Bitte um Hilfe im Haushalt und Garten...... Nummero Drei wäre eine Stelle ...

Torsdag d. 11. november
Denne dag arbejde vi igen udelukkende med udtynding af træernes grene, hvilket i længden er enormt kedeligt og hårdt i varmen (ca. 30 grader midt på dagen), men det giver gode penge gør det :) De sidste par timer arbejde kun Dennis og jeg, da tyskerne og Cody var kørt til byen for at købe ind, og for at aflevere Cody’s bil til en mekaniker. ...
