A travel blog entry by jeffrey.lin on Aug 02, 2014

A small town on the way out of the national park, there are no particular reason why I choose this town compare to the others ( there was about 3 similar small town on the out). I've decided to parked at this town to take a look.

    Distance: 20,000 meters
    Change in Elevation: 1,300 meters

There was a lot of steep, rocky areas, but it was a gorgeous hike with frequent mountain and valley views, plentiful wildflowers, both in the grassy areas and in the rocks and cliffs, and large rock faces with occasional waterfalls. It was very hot in the afternoon, so we ...

... After an hour or so the weather seemed to clear and we stopped to take off our wet wether gear and enjoy the sunshine. Bronnie suddely noticed that the Pic du Midi was showing itself for the first time that day. We took some pictures and went to take off again when the sudden break in the weather stopped as quickly as it had started, and walked the rest of the way in light rain. Stats: Distance: 10 km Total ascent: 20 meters Total descent: 920 meters Bronnie, Kathy and ...
