Aujourd'hui, nous avions décidé d'aller faire une balade en bicyclette jusqu'à Skagen. Michel ayant oublié ses chaussures à l'extérieur pendant la nuit ainsi que le temps légèrement pluvieux du matin de bonne heure nous y ont fait renoncer. Dommage, car nous nous sentions dans une forme éblouissante. Le vent que nous avons subi le reste de la journ ...

En guise de magasins de biére nous avons atterri au paradis des pêcheurs GéGé nous n'avons photographié seulement que quelques centaines de leurres sur les 5000 en magasin et on ne parlera pas des 10000 cannes à pêche et autres waders...

After this lecture, Stephanie has decided that there really wasn’t a future in a career of food artistry, so she has abandoned that and is embracing a career as a Faberge Egg Historian.

We have dry feet again. After a four hour trip across Skagerrak, we have finally "terra firma" under our feet. Getting ready for a 9 hour drive to the Netherlands now. We'll see whether we have a sleep over on the way, or whether I am going to push it for a straight drive through.

Trine's parents came down to Aalborg from Hjorring Trine home town. We went to see the singer Katie Melua at a open air concert. To honest I was still recovering from the night before. But concert was cool and it nice to hear a english voice because I haven't meet one englishmen since leaving the UK which was strange because normally it hard to get away from them. Then ...

... did some church viewing. Again, unfortunately (and I do mean that as I would love to have a genuine interest cause there are so many over here) I am not the museum/churchy gal, I am more the try the local cuisine/scenery girl, but hey I have to say it is growing on me and it was a stunning looking church that we visited and for the public to have the use of such an old, elegant landmark for weddings, christenings etc, well I am jealous. ... great, and really enjoyable, I wish we could have spent a little longer out there and a bit more away from the shore, but for a free trip, it was great. Well with the following Monday marking the three week point since I arrived, I really was keen to get out and find a job/meet new people/become less scared to practice the language in public. I had received my CPR number which is like your own personal number in the country of Denmark and marking you as a temporary citizen ...
