Today we are docked in Breisach in the south west of Germany and the sun is shining in blue skies, hooray! But it is only 2 degrees with no wind. We are leaving at 12:15 for an excursion through the Black Forest, so no lunch. However they won't let us starve so there was breakfast available until 9:00 and then brunch available from 9:30 until 11:30. In a shop I saw exactly the same puffer jacket I paid $99 for at UniGlo in Sydney, for CHF219 ...

We enjoyed quiet evening in the pleasant Aires which is situated next to a small park which has a very large wine press at one DBS and a children's play area at the other. This morning maintenance decided to change the fuel pump on the water heater as we still have a small water leak, we then walked into the village to buy some bread. After a short drive we arrived at Colmar-a beautiful town with cathedrals, timbered houses and canals running through ...

... will never eat cheese again. It certainly did have a strong smell, much more pungent than all the other cheese houses we have visited.

Traci and Nathan thought we would treat the children to a surprise dinner at a recently opened 1950s diner we saw on our first trip to Sarrebourg. Unfortunately when we arrived, very hungry, we were unable to get a seat :( So tonight we settled for an easy meal at home and we will try again tomorrow for ...
