Lovely hotel on the beach. It also has its own cornered off bit of the beach just for people staying at the hotel.
I loved the little huts on the beach where you had breakfast.

    Awesome
little plane taking me from Bangkok, it was a tiny little propeller plane! I
don’t think I’ve been on one that small before (unless I’m jumping out of it
    with a parachute!)

Tried to sleep for the 90 minute flight, but I was right by the wing so it was

... as we loved the mats and music. We spent the rest of the evening here. We ended up going through four pizzas, a couple of buckets (they out nearly half a mickey in with a concentrated red bull and soda of your choice), and a hookah. It's easy to blow hours stretched out here and the girls even went for a dip and we had another quick storm somewhere in there! Amazing day of exploring topped off by some chilling on the beach, what more could you ask ...

... so the Duke's bar had about 5 games on at once showing on projector screens and televisions dotted everywhere so there were men screaming at the tele in all different directions! It was a lovely evening. Right up my street. And I got told off for not paying attention to it and playing on my phone... CHEEK on him mind. Good job I had a fee too many Tigers in me so it made me drowsy and unaware to what was going on around me! ...

... him. The place we have been staying is called 'New Huts' and they have 3 little puppies that live here which we have adopted as our own and also another stray dog which we have named 'happy dog' because all he wants is a bit of love and attention and he is so cute! ( don't worry he doesn't have fleas or rabies, nobody panic) On our last night we wandered down the beach to a restaurant and had a lovely dinner and let off a 'lucky ...

... so laid back they were pretty much horizontal. When you sail this route twice a day you've probably been through worse. In Island terms, if Toa is the hipster scuba diver of the family then Samui is the business savy older brother. It's by far and away the most tourist-driven place I've been. Luxury five-star resorts litter the coastline. Street food is replaced by western-style restaurants and the infamous Mc Donald's is never too far away. It is what you make ...
