    ... embracing each other; various people yelling and screaming words in a number of foreign languages. But we would not give in to what appeared to be a reality: We were losing our battle with God and against death.

    I held this strangers hand as I felt his soul depart from his body. I found myself whispering a multitude of times, "I'm sorry man, I am so sorry man" as I starred at his lifeless body. I could not accept the fact that we had lost this total stranger.

    By 4pm it was done and I started to take the photographs. However Mike was also taking photos over my shoulder; so he was opening doors, moving things around, adding items. A bit of nightmare and it took me much longer than it should have done.     Since I last updated you, we haven't really moved from Nature Bar. We were meant to be going to Krabi but decided to give it a miss as we just couldn't bare to leave the beautiful island that we were on, not be mention the great people we were with!

    The dog rescue vet ended up coming out to Nature Bar and gave the chefs dog an injection as well as the owners dog for his ticks. The chefs dog's leg got back to normal in a couple of days and he is doing much better, thank god. ...

    So, big surprise coming here. There are bugs in thailand. We had a rather large roach in the last place before Tango, that was killed rather easily with a size 10 sandal. But, here at Tango, in the jungle like setting by the beach, we have had geckos, millipeds, and skeeters. The picture is the biggest milliped so far, probably 3 inches long crawling on the ceiling above the living room. luckily I am a crack shot with a balled up sock that knocked him off the ceiling ...
