... the bath, throw little hissy fits and **** off their parents. I loved them.

We only met female elephants because the male ones are kicked out of the herd when they are around 10 years old which is a natural solution to inbreeding. We had a quite New Years Eve. We had a meal at a local restaurant and then went down onto the beach to watch the fireworks. It was much busier than the previous year. The big resorts at either end of the beach were again in competition with each to give the best display.

Kellie says: The food is still amazing, beach is awesome, loving the flowers and the peace and quiet. Thai massages are interesting - kind of painful but relaxing all the same. I've never had anyone massage me with their knee before, or had my knuckles cracked (even my toe ...

... pool. The beach was nice, but the water was really shallow. Some of the staff were so rude, including a British lady who ran the place, it was so weird. Unfortunately Johnnie's tooth pain came back, and got really bad on Saturday night so he only got about an hour sleep. Earlier in the trip we'd decided that if one of us got sick, we'd go all out and stay at a really nice place until they got better. Coincidentally, we had just decided to blow the buget and stay at a really nice resort ...
