Chapter 2: Chiang Mai
... The temple was not as large as some we had seen but the views over Chiang Mai were magnificent. There were hundreds of carved steps leading up to the temple which were equally magnificent. We only spent half the day there so we walked from the bottom of the mountain to Chaing Mai zoo for the afternoon. After about half an hour we decided we did not like it, i mean the animals were close enough for you to touch which was great but they were all in really tiny pens and chained ...

Just decided to begin exploring some things. I started by emailing one of the Wats here that has "beginner" sessions in meditation Thought maybe this might be an even better place to begin. The best market that we've been to so far, there were so many stalls but they were all unique, nothing same same.
