... and breakfast. On the way to the boulangerie we passed by a garage sale area. It looks like every Sunday, locals organize a garage sale, it’s pretty busy, I stopped for few minutes and took some pictures. You can find anything from clothing, arms, painting, cutlery to old jewelry.

Early afternoon, we are at the Napoleon’s house ready to explore and learn more about Napoleon’s life and childhood.

Back on the Azamara, we join 6 of our new friends for an elegant dinner. C.C. Carter, a seasoned spoken word performer from Chicago. She brought down the house with her celebration of "curvalicious" women. Dana crashes and Mary ends the night with dancing.

We have arrived around 6pm and went straight to the hotel to check in. I booked hotel Napoleon. It had great reviews and was located right in the centre ville. I was happy with the hotel and it had a great location indeed.

... from farmers..Everything was so tasty..fruits, meats, cheese.

  • Le Citadele, where i took some pictures. And... before we left Ajccio to go to our next stop, Calvi, I had to try a crepe with Nutela and a delicous cafe au chocolat.
  • Quick note: Funny the owner told us that he lived in Montreal for few months but after few months only... he left, he moved back to Corsica. "The winter is too long, too gold, people ...

    ... Ajaccio was across the sea/beach. As it wasn't too late when we arrived, we had some time to stop by the beach and enjoy our first 1/2 day of vacation.

    Later in the evening - although we have planned to go to centre ville later in the evening to have dinner and walk around, we were too exhausted and we went straight to bed...but... before we did that, I had to check the closest boulangerie for breakfast ...
