    ... 80 cents. Taxis are relatively inexpensive too if you get the correct company. Evidently one charges 5 euros while another charges 25.00 euros which is interesting. Will have us paying attention. We have booked a private room with two beds that look like a bunkhouse in an old t.v western and there is a shared kitchen that has one hotplate b/w all the residents who sleep in dorm type rooms with 3 to 6 bunks.     ... and threw it at me. I think the only other people that were playing in the snow were the 3 year olds! But it was all good. We walked around the summit looked in the gift shop and restaurant and then we took a cogwheel train down the other side of the mountain. This cogwheel train is said to be the steepest in Europe.     ... later to check the times for the ferry in the morning, and also to see if there were any roast chickens left at one of the food outlets that we had walked past earlier that day. Chicken doesn't seem to be a huge part of the European diet as we haven't found many places which offer it, must be expensive or something..
