    ... the Villa Maria. The playground had this huge net thing that you could climb around on. The best part though is that it SPINS. Like I said before, Switzerland has really fun playgrounds!

    We then made our way to the L÷wendenkmal, or the Lion Monument. It is a huge lion statue carved out of the face of a cliff. The lion is depicted with an arrowhead piercing his side. The statue commemorates the Swiss Guards who were killed in the French Revolution ...

    ... was somewhere in front of us. We walked the short distance to the summit where on a beautiful clear day you get the 360 degree view and you feel like you are on top of the world. We couldn't even see very far in front of us but at least we can say we were there.
    Back down the mountain and onto the bus, we then drove the short distance to the pier and boarded the boat waiting to take us ...

    ... of Jack Nicholson in The Shining with the big empty hotel to ourselves. I knew that wasn't the case but it sure felt like it. We didn't find the showers but found the men/women stalls and one family one with a change station sign on the door. It was late so this didn't matter that much and decided to wait until morning. Eventually we were led right back to the door with the change station sign and when opened voila, there was the shower. Again, I guess we were just supposed ...
