The evening was a throwback to a more youthful time..where we were crowded in a small bar, with everyone in costume (I was a cow) and drinks were flowing. A popular beverage seemed to be ...

... journey by paddle steamer. Yvoire is a 700 year old fortified medieval lakeside village, and is a member of the "most beautiful villages in France". Its now famous for its flowers. Its a major tourist magnet for Geneva and other nearby places.

Its certainly very pleasant to walk around on a nice day as it was. I had lunch at "Les Jardins du Leman" where I tried the fried small perch fillets caught in the Lake. This restaurant is very ...
