... with just a few sprinkles but we must have timed everything great because there was plenty of wet roads so it seems like we just missed the rain. We headed up 129 today and drove past the Cheoah Dam where The Fugitive was filmed. There wasn't really a good pull off to take pictures plus we were afraid it was going to rain and none of us wanted to do the Dragon in the rain. The part of 129 from the Dam up to Deal's Gap was just as curvy as the official Dragon though! Going North on ...

... We got out and looked over the edge and saw kids in the water. We went closer and realized that they were jumping into the water from a rock that was about 20’ from the water. They jumped almost one after the other, and sometimes in pairs. Two girls jumped in and as they were getting out I heard one of them say, "It’s so cold!"
