Had lunch at Murphy's Pub.... Food and drinks both delicious... Service with a smile especially after I handed the guy his tip which I later realized was around 50%!!! Carlingford

We motored for 10.5 hours against the breeze in a lumpy sea. It was an uncomfortable ride and no one ate much for lunch.

Carlingford (the town) is a 15 minute walk from the marina, but I was nursing a sore knee so I stayed in board.

The Mourne Mountains to the North have some great walking, but we are just here for the night.

... before our last walking tour. Drogheda is a very old place, as relics have been found from 7000 years ago. The city walls were built in the 1200's, but only a small section and a gateway remains. We only saw a couple of other things before finishing at St Peters Cathedral a very nice church. By now it was about 3.00 so we did some window shopping. Is everyone getting excited for Halloween?! We sure are! Well I know I am...not so sure about Kole. I have my costume ready, my candy bowl filled and a scary black cat in our front window.
