... but that idea didn't go down too well!

The weather today dropped. A lot! It ended up being around fifteen by the time the sun set and we were all freezing. (What is this? I thought I'd escaped Australian winter! Although I've heard it's a lot colder than 15 at the moment!)

We opted for the cafe overlooking the skate-rink, and Nick kindly shouted us hot chocolates. We enjoyed our hot drinks and watched the skaters go around (and fall over!)

... and Muskoka got a fright when a little black squirrel ran out on the highway. Its overcast and a bit cool at the moment but I am sure the weather will brighten up as the day goes by. Took a detour to Hwy 147 onto Hwy 12 to have a look at Victoria Harbour and Midland the views going there were of maple, pine and oaks trees with homes sprinkled in between.
