        ... in that camp). The canoes were really unsteady but we didn't mind as we were already soaking from the rain. Whilst canoeing the sun came out for a little bit though! Then it went back to pouring rain.

        After the excitement of the race had calmed down we headed out for a late lunch at Spag and Co, an Italian restaurant right on the finish line. It is now time to celebrate Fathers Day. We had a great lunch but also watched some amazing athletes cross the line. By this stage most of them were in the 60 to 64, 65 to 69, 70 to 74, 75 to 79 and 80 to 84 age groups.         ... Looking forward to looping back through the village. Run was challenging , suffered in the last 4 kms . Looked forward to the finishing shute and getting that medal." After thermal pools and a sandwich and salad he is feeling normal at 5.15 ... Off to banquet and awards ceremony. The bike hire people were great Quintana Roo. Would recommend them.
