    ... campervan friendly) we opted for a fleeting drive by of the city en route to Liechtenstein. So here we are now, in the car park of Liechtenstein’s national stadium (looks like a poor mans version of Kardinia Park even though the royal family is worth around 4+ billion Euros, actually). Today we are lucky enough to arrive on Liechtenstein’s National Day and the Prince is throwing somewhat of a party so we are off to go to get amongst it.

    ... more people arrive, that would have been fine by me.

    10 minutes later I was back on the road. Strange way of doing things- he may end up with an empty room all night. I bet he wasn’t the owner of the place.

    At the end I found a place in Laax. I had written down the name of the hostel there but never expected to arrive as it has been another 10 hour ride.

Continuing on, me slicing wedges of Beaufort cheese with my Swiss Army knife and feeding Andy as he drove, we shortly arrived at a roadside stand selling, you guessed it, local cheese!! A lovely younger girl and an older man helped us to trying all types of goats and cows cheeses, different ages and textures. Then more music, including what we assumed to be the national anthem, played to the tune of God Save The Queen!     ... This is where Hilti electrical and mechanical tools are made, Liechenstein's biggest employer and employing 20,000 worldwide. Drove through the capital, Vaduz, getting ready for the National Day tomorrow. Drove into a beautiful camp site a few km. south, surrounded by mountains, hot and sunny, beautiful sunset.
