    ... open rocky alpine rough steep trail, then finally snow , rocks and ...the tricky part.... After about 5 hrs for the 4.5 mile trail,...extremely steep, midday sun, and LOTS of pics along the way we made it above the treeline to the mtn ridge . From here the plan was to decend to the Hidden Lake...     I was excited to see central Washington as it's a place I'd never seen before. The drive from Seattle to Wenatchee was beautiful, driving along US2 was scenic and it was a gorgeous day.
