    ... when you've had he diagnosis and treatment I've had, keeping the "monkey brain" on task is a work in progress.

    A member of my healing team is a gifted physical therapist helping me with post radiation issues. To avoid worsening lymphedema Caroline reminds me that I must keep moving. I need to limit time sitting at a desk, in the car, at meals etc and I need to take time twice a day to put my legs up the wall.

    ... Placed and bought some salmon and scallops to make dinner along with grilled vegetables and his home-made wine. Lovely meal - thank you, Otto. Chris contributed some of his jalapeno peppers. Chris wanted to know what was for dessert. I was happily sated and didn't miss it. We watched a movie and wished we hadn't bothered to stay up to finish it. Needed to be ready to get up early enough to fit in a paddling trip before I left for home.

    ... to the Whiteface Adventure Center. Whiteface is a the 5th highest mountain in New York. We rode a gondola up to the bottom of "Little Whiteface". We spent time exploring there. Our final destination of the day had us heading to 4,295 feet (Oh no! Hoping for no altitude sickness for Mom!) to climb to the summit of Whiteface Mountain. We climbed the rocky Alpine Trail ...
