    ... up with a 40 minute delay getting across the border and continuing our trip. We finally make it to the Gaylord KOA about 5 PM. It is a beautiful campground and although it is quite large, it is really quiet. After being sleep deprived for the past several days due to the late nights visiting with family we were really looking forward to a good nights rest.

    ....the pouring rain started about 11 ...

    ... up for any deviations from the famous itinerary. It's been a long day of driving but we made it to Gaylord Michigan, Bob Evans restaurant next to the hotel, so we don't even need to get back in the Tahoe today. After a big supper Ciera and I decided to walk to Walmart to get snack and drinks for tomorrow's drive, the old guy didn't come with us....claims he's allergic to Walmart....pffft! Tomorrows destination Niagara ...

    ... for us it was National Fudge day and the island's oldest fudge maker Murdick's Fudge was giving away free fudge so of course we got some free and bought more - just like they wanted! Fudge had its beginnings on the island in the 1887's. There were quite a lot of fudge shops to choose from.

    The Chuck Wagon was a great place for lunch with their claim to have the best hamburgers on the island - which must have been true ...
