Another day we found Interlochen Center for the Arts. We both had heard about Interlochen through the years but didn’t know it was in this area. It was founded in 1928. In the summer there are camps held in these areas and include grades ...

Our final day here in Charlevoix was spent running a few errands in nearby Petoskey. ...

It was a great show, and by 10:45 PM the crowd was clapping and the boats in the marina were sounding their horns in approval. Another Venetian festival (the 85th this year) was over, and the crowds slowly dispersed. The larger crowd meant that we had to wait a little longer before making the trek up the hill to where we had parked, but by 11:45 ...

... form. Two sandwiches, chips, pickles and drinks for about $15 is a pretty good deal, especially considering the awesomeness of the food. After getting our sandwiches, we made a quick stop at Chris' uncle's house to say hello then headed downtown. By arriving relatively early at 2:30 PM, we were able to secure a prime spot on the grass near the beer tent with an awesome view of the harbor. Lunch al fresco followed our set up, then ...
