... annoying. the table land by it self is a pretty nice place, especially for photography. You will have a 360 deg view of panchgani, and the sunset looks really nice. apart from that most other places will have similar offerings.
Nice place to relax for a couple of days, quite a few places to visit in and around panchgani and mahabaleshwar. many "points" to see, but the highlight will have to be the food.
If you want to avoid the crowd you must visit during the week as during the week-end it gets choc-a-block and you wont be able to enjoy the beauty thanks to the overwhelming number of tourists. I wish we as a country would learn to respect and protect nature.
